2023 Update

Good evening, everyone. It has truly been a busy two weeks.

We are almost finished with the kitchen area and the application to renew our “health permit” will be mailed tomorrow.

We collected $290.00 ending the week of 12/15 from donations and items taken.

We collected $340.00 ending the week of 12/22 from donations and items taken.

We paid $595.47 for electric service (3 separate meters and the outside lights) so monetary donations are always helpful to help us to keep providing our services to those in need.

We installed additional shelving to help better manage the overload of stock. The citizens have been very instrumental in our first year with volunteering their time and donations.

Our current lease will expire 12/31 and I have prepared a new lease agreement for the facilities with a monthly rent of $850.00.

As we move forward into the new year it will be time for me to send out “grant request” applications to those organizations who have helped us move forward in the past and who are willing to continue helping the citizens we serve.

We have the washing machine operational and are working to get a 220 connection installed for the dryer to be operational. So our clothes washing and drying program for those in need is halfway there.

Please remember we are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 87-2660584) and all donations are tax-deductible.

If you feel lead to give an end-of-the-year gift to our organization it would be very much appreciated and will be put back into the community we serve.

May God continue to bless each of you and your families…

WE ARE OUR BROTHERS KEEPER.
